Google Stitch
Google Stitch: AI UI design and front-end prototypes

From a UI idea to connected screens
Stitch is a Google Labs design canvas for software interfaces. A written brief, sketch or screenshot can become a set of editable screens. App and Web options focus the output on the intended format; they describe the interface you are designing, rather than a finished app with accounts, payments and a database.
The current beta can connect related screens through interaction hotspots, giving a clickable simulation of a user journey. Figma export keeps named layers, Auto Layout and editable text. HTML and CSS, including Tailwind support, provide a starting point for front-end implementation.
Live Mode is available as a preview. Google’s realtime design update adds voice and text steering while the Stitch Agent works on the canvas, alongside existing design files and codebase context. MCP integration lets compatible coding agents inspect a design and request changes. Antigravity handoff supports further implementation, while Google AI Studio and Netlify offer separate sharing or publishing routes.
Stitch is currently free with a daily credit allowance that resets at midnight UTC. Availability is limited to English and users aged 18 or older in countries where Gemini is available. Prototype interactions and exported front-end screens still need application logic before they become a complete production service.
Best for
- Founders exploring app and website interfaces
- Designers developing connected screen concepts
- Developers turning a visual direction into front-end code
Limitations
Stitch is a beta with daily usage limits. Interactive prototypes simulate an app; backend logic requires further implementation. Availability is limited by age, language and country.
