From a song idea to an editable arrangement
Suno turns a description, lyrics or creative references into music with vocals or instrumental arrangements. The September 2026 v6 launch introduces three models: v6-mini on the Free plan, and v6 and v6-wild for Pro and Premier subscribers. The paid models offer different degrees of creative predictability, with v6-wild intended for exploration. Suno describes section and lyric editing, mashups and multimodal references as part of the new generation. Earlier model versions are being retired during the rollout.
Paid plans include personal-voice creation and stem-separation tools. Premier adds Studio 2.0, a browser music-production environment for arranging tracks, playing MIDI instruments, applying effects and recording automation. Its stem-separation methods help isolate parts for further editing; the number of listed methods is separate from the number of audio parts in a song. Studio imports existing audio and stems and exports full songs, stems or selected ranges.
Generation credits and song downloads are separate allowances. Pro includes 20 monthly song downloads and Premier includes 60, while Studio exports for Premier users are exempt. Free users receive daily creation credits but no recurring monthly download allowance. Suno’s current paid-rights guide ties commercial permission to songs downloaded while subscribed. Input permissions and the full terms still apply; collaborative Remixes remain noncommercial even on paid plans. Commercial permission does not establish copyright protection.

Can I download songs on Suno’s free plan?
Free has no recurring monthly song-download allowance. Users who joined before 3 September 2026 may have up to seven lifetime trial downloads; newer Free accounts may occasionally receive trial downloads. These trials are for personal use and do not reset monthly.
Does Suno grant commercial rights?
