AI presentation creation in familiar slide editors
Plus AI adds presentation generation to PowerPoint and Google Slides. Start with a brief, outline or slide-by-slide instructions. Pro and higher accept reference documents, including PDF, Word and text files. PowerPoint generation supports up to ten reference files, a chosen template, language settings and optional web research. Google Slides gives you an outline to review before generating the full deck.
For editable Google Slides elements, choose Slides mode. Images mode creates visually distinctive slides as images, with less control over their individual contents. The distinction matters if you expect to change text or rearrange elements afterward. In PowerPoint, the AI Agent can revise a selected slide, restructure its content and add tables, charts, icons or images. Insert, Rewrite and Remix offer more focused changes to slide content and layouts.
Team adds shared colours, fonts, logos, presets and custom instructions. Its self-service custom-template beta currently works only in Google Slides, with up to five templates and 25 slides per template. It reuses existing designs rather than inventing new layouts. Text and image content can be updated; imported charts, tables and diagrams remain static for AI editing. Enterprise offers a separate service for advanced custom templates and asset libraries.
A browser version can generate presentations without opening a slide editor, then export a PowerPoint file. Plus AI editing tools are unavailable there: continue editing in PowerPoint or another compatible app. Exported edits do not sync back, add-in presentations do not appear in the web library, and web presentations are visible only to their creator. Shared branding does not make that browser library a shared team workspace.

Limitations
There is no ongoing free plan. The trial requires a card and renews into a paid subscription. Google Slides Images mode produces image-based slides; the browser version generates and exports decks but lacks Plus AI editing tools.

Does Plus AI work in PowerPoint and Google Slides?
Yes. A Plus AI subscription includes both add-ins. Google Slides offers native editable Slides mode and image-based Images mode; PowerPoint also supports AI Agent slide editing.
Is Plus AI free?
New customers can start a seven-day trial with 1,000 AI credits. It requires a card and automatically becomes the selected paid subscription unless cancelled. Plus AI does not offer an ongoing free plan.
