Grok brings current web information and X posts into a conversational assistant. Source links make search results easier to follow, while writing, code assistance and memory support longer conversations. Its web app and iOS and Android apps provide the main consumer experience.
Connected apps broaden the assistant beyond public search. Google and Microsoft email, calendars and cloud storage sit alongside a larger connector catalogue. Access depends on connecting the relevant account; in a Business or Enterprise workspace, an administrator must first make organisational connectors available.
Imagine adds a visual side to Grok, with image and video creation inside paid plans and a separate developer API for generated media and editing. Those surfaces have different specifications. App-plan video lengths should not be inferred from the Imagine API’s 15-second examples.
