From class material to a revision library
Quizlet starts with flashcard sets and adds tools for creating and practising study material. Smart Assist drafts cards from pasted notes, uploaded content or a topic; you can edit the cards before publishing. Study Guides organize supplied notes into an outline and flashcards, giving a class document more than one route into revision.
AI Practice Tests generate questions from notes or eligible existing sets, with configurable question types, length and a timer. This is a separate feature from the classic Test mode. Access depends on language, country, age and plan; selecting existing sets and folders for an AI practice test is currently a web feature.
Ask Quizlet provides explanations and can generate editable flashcards from a question, file or image. The current help documentation limits it to US users aged 14 and older. It accepts up to three supported files at once; mobile files are limited to 25 MB. A conversation resets when you leave the page, so it is not a permanent chat notebook.
Flashcard review includes a web-only spaced repetition mode that schedules cards according to your own recall ratings. Study Guides also have separate visibility controls for the guide and its generated flashcard set. Web and mobile cover different input options: the iOS guide flow includes audio recording, while the documented Android flow lists photos, pasted notes and files.
Best for
- Students turning class notes into revision material
- Learners reviewing flashcards and key concepts
- People preparing practice questions from their own notes
Limitations
